We started off the day slowly getting ready for Abigail's soccer games. She had two games, back-to-back, so we had to plan ahead with snacks and extra water to re-energize her in between the games. During the break, my mom took Ally and Melinda to the store and picked up snow cones for everyone to share during the second game.
I think most of the girls were still asleep during the first game and they ended up in a tie, 3-3. The second game went much better. They all seemed to play with more spunk and they won 7-4. Abigail scored three goals and earned a special treat after lunch.
Once the games were over, we headed over to Joe Willy's for lunch. This is a very good restaurant that we enjoy eating at every once in awhile. We didn't have a lot of time to sit and relax because we had to head home in order to get ready for church.

We all headed to church and afterwards, Melinda, Abigail, and Ally went with mom to see Despicable Me 2 while Robert and I went out for the evening. A childhood friend of mine was in town for a few days and I couldn't wait to get to see him. He is the choreographer on the Fox t.v. show Glee and I hadn't seen him since I was in high school. He only comes home to visit every once in awhile, so I was really looking forward to this visit. There were lots of people there, so we didn't stay long. We headed to Primo's to have dinner and then to a local bar to listen to a band. The band playing was really good and we stayed for a little while before heading home. It had been a long day and we were both very tired.
