Today began with us all sleeping in. After a late night from the concert, everyone was slow to get up. Robert eventually got started mowing the yard and I began washing clothes.
After lunch, Melinda and the girls went across the street to mom and dads to swim in the pool while I finished up the laundry. Robert went to the store to get a few things for the house and I began sewing some curtains for the laundry room. We grilled some pork chops for dinner and invited my dad over to eat with us. My mom is out of town visiting family in south Texas for a few days. After dinner, I finished the curtains and the girls got ready and into bed. We had a craving for ice cream, so Robert and Melinda headed to the Texas stop sign...Dairy Queen! We hadn't had an ice cream in quite some time and boy, did it taste good!
