Day 52

***This is about two weeks late, so I'm going off of a very rusty memory.  This will be short and sweet with lots of pictures, so get ready!***

We started off the day with a very early workout session with the trainer.  When we got home, the girls were all packed and ready to get in the car and head to San Antonio.  After Robert and I were ready and we made all the final preparations, we were off!

We made it to San Antonio around 2:00 p.m.  We stopped by my brothers house to pick up my mom and nephew before heading to the hotel.  As we were driving into the city, we all got just a little bit more excited.  The hotel we stayed at was right on the river and we couldn't wait to get down there and start looking around.  When we got up to our room, got unpacked and rested our feet for just a few minutes, we regrouped and headed back downstairs.

The first thing we did was take the river boat tour.  This is always a fun way to see a majority of the River Walk.  That way, you know where you want to have dinner or go shopping.

After the boat ride, we stopped at a restaurant on the river for dinner.  Mom said she wanted a drink, so we ordered a margarita.  I took my picture with Robert holding our drink.  I fussed at him because he didn't smile, but he said it was too hard to look 'manly' with a straw.  Mom spit her drink across the table!!!

After dinner, we went back to the hotel room so the kids could change into their swimsuits.  The outdoor pool is overlooking the river and the weather was nice enough for us all to lounge while the kids swam with Robert.

When they were done, we went back to our for them to get ready for bed.  Robert and I changed and headed out for the evening while mom stayed in the room with the kids.  We stopped into a piano bar and hung out for a little while before heading back to the hotel for the night.
