We started off the day with a quick meal at the McDonald's across the street from the hotel. After breakfast, we headed to the Alamo so Melinda could learn about one of the most notable icons in Texas history.

After the Alamo, we headed to the mall to see an IMAX movie about the Alamo. From there, we walked around the mall for a little bit before going to the hotel to rest. Later, we took a trolley down to the Market to have dinner and look at all the wonderful shops full of colorful things.

My dinner...Menudo!!! I love this soup and don't get to eat it very often. |

The restaurant is also a bakery. They make traditional Mexican 'sweet bread' or pan dulce. |

By the time we left there and rode the trolley back to our hotel, everyone was ready for bed. The next day was going to be an even longer day, so it was good that we were back in the room early.
